The teens had to be evacuated for two nights and housed at
Salt Lake Early Intervention. But the flooding had bigger
ramifications for the troubled teens who live there. The
teens, who have been in trouble with the law, are court-
ordered to do community service and pay victim restitution
while at the center. Many have done work for the Utah
Head Start, Camp Williams the Ronald McDonald House.
Because of the flood, 300 hours of community service were
canceled, setting the youths back on their track to get
home.
