Simple really. They're typically pretty talented and dedicated to their craft, and they've had to come up with some sort of schtick to stand out (and make money).
This violinist found on the streets in Spokane, Wash. is no different.
Bryson Andres plays a mean violin... and that's it.

I am a sucker for the street players, also. This guy is great, but I don't recall ever hearing a bad one.

This one impressed me, too. "Stand by Me"

Thanks WW.

Al-316- THANK YOU! About as sweet as life gets. I love life this real...

I belong to " For your Ears" music group. I'll send an invite if you like. You can seed this there.

Lines from a hip hop song I'm writing:

You're fighting for your turf
I'm trying to give you the whole earth
While you stand there all noble
I'm trying to take you global...

Well, that was a hoot and a half. Thanks!

Yeah, I love that version of "Stand By Me". It's a killer and even better than John Lennon's take on "Rock n Roll" which, heretofore, had been my favorite cover.

These guys aren't street musicians any longer but they are definitely One Man Band's of Note.

Curtis Eller's American Circus: Taking Up Serpents Again (This guy is seen with company more these days but he started as a multi instrumentalist one man band)

Sugar in My Coffin (studio version)

And then there Scott H Biram. Still one man banding it as far as I know....

Blood Sweat and Murder

Anyhow, thanks. Most cool......

Tex. Enjoyed Scott Biram. He makes you want to grab your cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Then order a Bud! : )
