I have many things to say on this one and none of them nice. I hope she can get the scars repaired. I'm not sure this is just a random attack.

I wonder if they have a law against cruel and unusual punishment? Because if they don't, I'd suggest taking a branding iron to these punks and burning the word "MUGGER" on their hands, faces and asses. See how they like being painfully branded for life.

#5 - Tue Feb 7, 2012 6:55 PM ESTActually, these days, my bet would most likely be on some authoritative/fundamentalist personality. Being incapable of processing change without a violent response as well as their well-noted hatred of women....
That was the one thing I remember about them: they're everywhere. In every culture, in every country but, right now, they all seem to be going- well, "nucking futz" atm....
Seriously. They're more violent and more- I dunno, unstable over the last couple of years. Just can't handle people across the world from one another connecting and talking as people, I guess- (that guy's supposed to be the hated "Other!!!!"- or something).
To be perfectly honest? Physics, Chem- Even Bio- all of those I can understand but, even after reading up on these guys (this personality type)?- I just can NOT "grok" them enough to give an in-depth analysis or remember much more than the fact that they are all: bat-$hit crazy, go absolutely violent whenever there's a major change in our societies- always have the same belief structures regardless of "input" from any other culture which includes- hatred and violence against women, a "bullying" type of personality (extraordinarily violent to those they consider "below" them- like women, kids, pets but also extraordinarily sycophantic to those they consider "above") And, last, but not least, the more "others" that they perceive as "infecting" their "way of life" the more violent and reactionary they become.....
Needless to say that, given the- well, proliferation of these guys going "postal" in just about every culture/country over the last couple of years in the news and how- well, how unstable they seem to be at the moment.....
Yeah. One of them would be my first guess for this kind of thing. I mean, it was against a girl- "weaker" and something like that isn't passion- it's a "power play" so, yeah. He probably knows her in passing, he is probably a he and he is most likely an authoritative/fundamentalist of whatever flavor he favors- which ultimately doesn't matter because once you get into "nutjob" it really doesn't matter what banner they're supposedly "saluting" because it's always the same illness underneath....
But, I could be wrong- certainly have been before but, "playing the percentages"- that would be my guess...
